The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is one of the biggest bird parks in the world and is also a part of the well-known Lake Gardens. This park covers over twenty hectares of land and is fragmented into smaller areas - Hornbill Park, Brahminy Land, Flamingo Park and the World of Parrots. There is also a free flight walk in aviary that gives shelter to more than three thousand different species of birds.


This temple is one of the oldest in entire South East Asia and is also a very popular tourist spot in Kuala Lumpur. This is a six tiered Chinese temple that rests on the Robson Heights and it is dedicated to a goddess named Tian Hou who was believed to be the protector of the fishermen. Other than tourists, this place is also frequented by many devotees who worship the goddess of mercy - Guan Yin. This temple is also a famous wedding venue for the Chinese population living in this city.


This is another of Kuala Lumpur's most famous tourist attraction spots. These caves are actually a limestone hill that constitutes of three main caves and many other smaller ones. The main cave features Hindu idols and statues and the limestone formations in and around this temple are claimed to be four hundred million years old. The visitors to this temple are to climb a flight of two hundred and seventy two steps to gain access to this temple.


Standing elegantly on the Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve, the Menara tower is four hundred twenty one meters tall and in accordance to the present records, it is the fifth tallest man-made structure in the world. Although outrun by the twin towers, the Menara tower constitutes a hundred meter deck that is higher than the twin towers and also offers the best views of the city. This is a very important architectural creation and is one of the most popular tourist spots in Kuala Lumpur.


This place is also known as Chinatown and is basically a bargain seeker's paradise! The roots of this place are well anchored in heritage, culture and history of Malaysia. Chinatown never seems to sleep; it is always crowded with tourists purchasing all sorts of goods ranging from home decorative items to imitation goods to Chinese herbs. This place perfectly portrays Malaysia's multi-hued cultural background.
